Delhi situation: Hindu-Muslim Manch in Jammu seek action against rioters

Jammu, Feb 26:  In view of prevailing situation in the National Capital, the Hindu-Muslim Manch on Wednesday took out a peaceful march and demanded action against the ‘rioters’.

People taking part in the march demanded that the Centre handle the Delhi rioters firmly the way it did when it repealed Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Raising slogans of Hindu-Muslim unity and brotherhood, the participants demanded that Delhi should not become another Kashmir.

The protestors, carrying posters and placards of Hindu-Muslim brotherhood, took to the streets.

They said Pakistan was behind the violence in Delhi and claimed that the neighbouring nation wanted to divide two communities.

Seeking strict action against the rioters, the people in the march said the way the government took a strong decision to remove Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and the peace was maintained, there is a need to take strong measures against them. (uni)
