Muzaffarpur, Mar 7 (UNI) At least 12 people were killed and 3 others injured in a road
accident near Samraspur under Kanti police station area here on Saturday .
Police said that a tractor and a Scorpio collided head on near Samraspur Healthcare
on national highway 28.
According to police, 12 people were killed on the spot in this accident. The injured ware
admitted at Shri Krishna Medical College Hospital in Muzaffarpur.
The deceased were is engaged in the laying of pipelines at Buxar under the dream
project of Bihar Chief Minister for providing tap water supply to every house. They were
returning from Buxar to their home for Holi festival.
Police said two deceased have been identified as Rambal Sahni and Dhruv Narayan
Sahni, identity of the rest of the deceased was being ascertained. They all belong to
Simri village under Hathaudi of Muzaffarpur district .
The bodies have been sent to Sri Krishna Medical College Hospital for postmortem.
