Netizen accuses Director Health Services of ‘wrong doings’
‘Don’t know who he is: Samir Mattoo
Srinagar, Oct 13, KNT: The incumbent Director Health Services Kashmir is being criticized on social media by a netizen and serious allegations are being leveled against him.
It is being claimed that Directorate of Health Services Kashmir interviewed the post of (Contractual) Medical Officer for National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) and the process was a staged one.
“The whole process had been staged to accommodate one blue-eyed Doctor, who is very close to incumbent Director Health Services & has served as his OSD earlier. Only two candidates appeared in the said interview,” tweeted a social media user.
He added that those who interviewed the candidates gave significantly fewer marks to other candidates to pave way for the blue eyed ones. The netizen as per news agency KNT adds that this happens with the vacancies of both paramedics & doctors and two clerks working on NHM Desk act as brokers in the job process.
The social media user in another tweet claimed that one who worked as a Divisional Nutrition Officer is now working as Deputy Director without Government order. He alleged that majority of these ‘scammed’ appointments have been made during Covid-19 crisis.
In an earlier tweet, the said netizen without mentioning the name of Director Health Services claimed that: “A new ‘ME TOO’ movement on cards in Kashmir Health Dept. Not a surprise we are performing so abysmally on COVID FRONT as the BOSS is committed to add colours to his harem & punish the ones who resist his improper motives.”
Kashmir News Trust tried a lot to reach out this anonymous social media user and even texted him, but there was no response from his side.
The said social media user has even tagged top officials, media houses and Journalists including Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anti Corruption Bureau, Ministry of Health Family Welfare, Government of India, Union Health Minister Dr Harshvardhan and others in his tweets.
When contacted, Director Health Services Kashmir Dr Samir Matoo feigned ignorance about these tweets saying he will see who this is and why he is tweeting against him. “The appointment of Medical Officer for National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme was a fair one. I don’t know somebody is tweeting against me,” he added. (KNT)
