Holy month of Ramadan; JKP provides helping hand

SRINAGAR: In its endeavour to help the needy people during the month of Ramadan, Jammu and Kashmir Police in collaboration with Uday foundation provided the helping hand by launching a special campaign. In this campaign clothing items were distributed in Srinagar and Shopian, today.

The campaign is being launched on the directions of Director General of Police Shri S.P. Vaid and Inspector General of Police Shri Munir Ahmad Khan.

During this campaign in Srinagar, free clothing items were distributed among the leprosy patients in Lalbazar. The clothing items were also distributed among more than 1000 orphans of various orphanages of the city.

In Shopian SSP Pulwama Shri Mohammad Aslam distributed the free items among the needy and poor people of District Pulwama at District Police Lines Pulwama.

The campaign will also be held in other districts of the valley and shall be a regular feature of Jammu and Kashmir Police
