Happy Teachers Day

By: Shahid Majeed Mir
Teachers’ day is celebrated to express our gratitude and appreciate the hard work of our Teachers. Teachers’ Day in India is observed on the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan that falls on 5th of September every year. This great son of India was a teacher and later he became the Vice-President of Indian Republic. On the death of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan became the President. We, the students, are very proud to pay our respect to that great Teacher-President on this day. We pay our respect to our own teachers as well. Our teachers inspire us the same way as Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan inspired his students. They love us and are always anxious to help us. It is widely celebrated in schools and colleges. Occasionally, Students and teachers together also arrange for a Teachers’ Day Function. They also organize cultural events on this day. Teachers and students gather somewhere inside the school and the celebration begins. We owe more to our teachers than we owe to even our parents. Our teachers help us stride forward, build our character and prepare us to face life. On Teachers’ Day we thank our dear teachers. We express our love and gratefulness on the occasion of Teachers Day. On this day we also promise to be worthy citizens of India.
The 5th September is celebrated as Teachers’ Day all over the India every year. Actually 5th of September is the birth anniversary of the Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was a great scholar and teacher. In his later life first he became the Vice President of Indian republic and then the President of Indian republic. Students all across the country observe this day to pay respect to their teachers. It is truly said that teachers are like back bone of our society. They play a great role in building up the characters of students and shape them to become an ideal citizens of India. Teachers teach students very carefully and sincerely just like their own children. It is well said that teachers are great than the parents. Parents give birth to a child whereas teachers shape his/her character and make future bright. Thus we never forget and ignore them, we always respect and love them.
Our parents are responsible for giving us love and quality care however our teachers are responsible for making whole future bright and successful. They let us know the importance of education in our life through their continuous efforts. They are the source of inspiration to us which help us to go ahead and get success. They motivate us towards study by giving examples of great personalities all over the world. They make us so strong and prepare to withstand any obstacle of the life. They become full of immense knowledge and wisdom using which they nourish our lives. Come on my dear friends, say together that ‘our respected teachers we are always grateful to you for all you do to us’. My dear friends we should always obey our teachers orders and follow their advice to be the worthy citizens of India.
Dr Tanveer Sir is a creative young teacher who relocates to teach in Amar Singh College in Srinagar. With a view to making a difference in the lives of minority students he uses special rules for his classroom. His teaching, and his undying devotion towards his students help the students cope with their problems. Each student is able to emerge a better person. They begin to take an interest in academics and excel in it too. I wish him a very healthy life and offer my wishes to them in each and every phase of their life just like the same way Tanveer sir was there for me when I needed him I every time of my life. So, dear colleagues come on and participate in this recognition to pay a hearty regard to our own mentors. They are termed as the backbone of our nation because they profoundly participate in creating up our personalities, developing our future and help us to be perfect citizens of the nation.
“Education should become a force for the nation’s character building.”“Dialogue with students: Enjoy childhood. Don’t let the child in you die.”.“We must restore respect for the teacher in our society.”. “Can’t India dream of exporting good teachers?”. “Children can contribute to nation-building through cleanliness, saving electricity and water.”My best teacher is Dr Tanveer Sir who  used to teach us Zoology in the Amar Singh College. Although I went to the many institutions but still I love my Tanveer sir and I miss his teaching. I love him very much rather than others with zeal and zest. The mistake of the teacher is reflected in the nation that is why the teacher us also called the leader of the nation as most of the Greek philosopher’s wrote in there books the leader is one who knows the way, who shows the way and who follows the way. The teacher is one who makes us.
Teacher is a person in our life who provides many important things together with the good education. A teacher means a lot to his/her students. He/she plays extraordinary roles in our lives from the beginning years of development till we get mature. They mould us and our future accordingly in order to make us a responsible citizen of the country. I have provided above some paragraphs on my favourite teacher to help students in completing their  writing task. All the my favourite teacher paragraphs are written very simply.
In conclusion having said that I would make an important point here that the whole nation should understand the importance of teacher. Because without teacher life is impossible. Like a car if the driver will not be inside the car while travelling then the car will do accident. The guidelines are very much important in order to see the difference between right and wrong….
