Magical “POSTAL BOX” in Ganderbal; A Seamless pebble Art creation of youngster

Ganderbal: Meet the Gandebal youngster (artist) who uses pebbles to show the magic of real art, who hails from the small village of Ganderbal district, fell in love with unique art with sheer dedication and passion. Works as a pebble artist and sets out to find the fitting pieces for his creation, find he does.
Manzoor Ahmad belongs to middle family, hails from small village of Ganderbal, earlier used wastage of pencil to show the real artisan, now start his precious pebble art work since last unrest, during silent streets in valley. This young veterinarian has used art to vent out his feelings through his creation. The magical pebble creation of seamless art gallery you can not spot a single mistake in their pebble work.
27-year-old Manzoor fell in love with this unique art form and has used pebbles to showcase the different images in their dream “POSTAL BOX” a beautiful shop located near police station Ganderbal. One who visit on “POSTAL BOX” would unravel the tale of Manzoor, when all the pebbles around them start talking.
Manzoor of Guzarbal, says that he wanted to do something more for the nature. it has countless Petto,s around us which needed to focus with heartily. There’s a conversation happening at the creation of the Arts. “Art is a way of communicating,” artist Manzoor says. “It’s this wonderful work, and people can connect and reach to nature.” a talented artisan while talking with Kashmir Press Service (Kashmir Age).
My latest creation largely shows the beauties of nature, my art work inspire from nature, sometime when i see something in nature i have imagine then express to my works, the stones, pebbles is a form of beauties, that Allah gives around us, when i see some pebbles then get imagine such as we look at the sky, mountains, trees and birds. When i choose one pebble in my hand and see it look like image in my hand and i cannot wait to create it to show my images, Manzoor said. The main attraction is a group of pebbles which were joined to make a statue of a ship.
Now the Mozake art starts in shape of “Postal Box” along with his two friends one Aasif Abdullah from Dobipora and another Mohammad Umair from Dobippra help him to trace out different colors of pebbles which is most difficult task to trace selected pieces of pebble. Since few years Manzoor along with two friends from time to time visit most places in Kashmir, such as Sonamarg, Naranag, Vishnosar, Ladakh, Tarsar,Marsar, Gadsar and last year in 2016, the team visit to Gangabal, from scores of pebbles choose only those pebbles who is in exploitable.
“Insha-Allah soon his work will be recognise international and are only getting better and better,” Aasif Abdullah added. “He mostly do one-piece art. The item is seamless. You cannot spot a single mistake in his work,” Abdullah, Manzoor’s friend explained proudly.
(KPS): How do you see pebble or stone art in Kashmir today?
(M): Kashmir has been an epicenter of art and artists for centuries where today’s condition cannot suppress the artists or their work. But in Kashmir people often pursue mainstream professions, like medicine or engineering, because there is little exposure to the arts. I hope my colorful pebble art will give me a new platform and potential to other Kashmiri youth.
(KPS): Why did you decide to set up (POSTAL BOX)?
(M): Postal Box, was set up as a platform for me and my two friends to vent out feelings through art. Evoking a sense of serenity, my primary intention through this “Postal Box” was to create opportunities for me and other Kashmiri youth to engage in creative projects to promote a livelihood of peace, dignity and order.
Manzoor Ahmad a swot and young hails from the small village of Guzarbal under the Ganderbal district. After uninteresting with his Study, leaving their schooling in 10th class from Tiny hearts School Ganderbal, Son of retired policeman now start its costly work as a pebble painting art . First he start its unique art from the wastage of pencil now its work changed into natural things which is pebbles, the selection of pebbles is most difficult, where after searching scores of pebbles, among them selecting few only. He fell in love with this unique art form because of its loving nature. With sheer dedication and passion, Manzoor sets out to find the fitting pieces for his creations and find he does.
