Mathura, June 19 : Three people were gunned down by criminals in Raya area of the district late Monday night.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prabhakar Choudhury said that the crime occurred at Nagla Bharat village, about 35 kilometers from the district headquarters where Sunder Singh (45), Bhawar Singh (50) and 70-year-old Satya Prakash were shot dead when they were fast asleep.
The crime occurred in different houses in the village and rivalry was said to be the reason behind the killing.
Police was investigating the matter.
