New Delhi, Aug 7 : The Rajya Sabha on Tuesday adjourned till 1200 hrs amid din over the issue
of Deoria shelter home just after the laying of the papers in the House finished.
Just after paying obituary references to former Congress member R K Dhawan, AAP member Sanjay
Singh raised the Deoria shelter home issue where 24 minor girls were rescued by the administration on
Monday in Uttar Pradesh, but the Chair did not allow Mr Singh to speak.
Later members of Samajwadi Party joined him in raising the issue, creating ruckus in the House.
Mr Naidu tried to restore order in the Upper House but the AAP and SP member did not listen to him.
The Chair adjourned the proceeding of the House till 1200 hrs. (UNI)
