Amendment to domicile order, Jammu Kashmir BJP Unit extends gratitude to PM Modi

Srinagar, April 4,: BJP Spokesperson Ghulam Muhammad Mir Saturday said that people of Jammu and Kashmir are thankful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his timely immediate action in bring down the desirous amendments in Domicile Law governing job reservations for all types of jobs to the domicile people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Mir said that it is a sigh of relief to the people especially the youth. He said people of Kashmir welcomed this decision.

“I highly appreciate the home minister and national security advisor for understanding the genuine reservations put forth by the people of J&K vis-à-vis the new order defining domicile law in the matter of employment for Jammu and Kashmir. Their timely intervention made the requisite safeguards possible,” he said in a statement.
