The Chief Minister received a warm reception at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar on Monday as government offices reopened in the summer capital.
He was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour upon his arrival, marking the formal resumption of official functioning in the city.
The reopening follows the revival of the Darbar Move, which had resumed last year in Jammu, symbolizing continuity of governance in Jammu and Kashmir.
With this shift, the Civil Secretariat has fully moved to the summer capital after several years, restoring the traditional biannual administrative transition between Jammu and Srinagar.
