Authorities on Saturday demolished two residential properties in the Indra Nagar area of Miran Sahib, Jammu, claiming the houses were built through drug trafficking proceeds, amid heavy security deployment.
The action, carried out under RS Pora Police jurisdiction, triggered distress among affected families. Relatives of one accused, identified as Babloo, disputed the demolition, saying the property belonged to his father and not to the accused.
"You cannot punish the father for the deeds of his son," family members said, adding that the accused were already in jail.
