The Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Kashmir, has filed a chargesheet against a Srinagar man accused of duping several job seekers of lakhs of rupees by promising jobs in Bahrain and providing forged visas, job offer letters, air tickets and other fake travel documents.
The investigation found that the accused allegedly operated the fraud through his consultancy by conducting online interviews, medical examinations and agreements to make the fake employment process appear genuine.
The chargesheet has been presented before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Srinagar, for judicial proceedings.
