Renowned Political/Social Activist Sardar Tajinder Singh said that he stands for the struggle to safeguard genuine rights of people till restoration of Statehood to Jammu and Kashmir
While interacting a group of Social Activists and keeping norms of SOP of covid19 and Social distancing Tajinder said He Demand for the restoration of Statehood of Jammu and Kashmir along with Constitutional guarantee and safe guard for land and jobs to permanent residents.singh regretted that people of Jammu and Kashmir were facing numerous problems due to callous approach of those at the helm of the affairs.”Woes of common people are compounding with every passing day to non serious approach of administration.”, Tajinder added.
In a statement issued Tajinder Demand financial package for jammu and kashmir ,singh said present scenario demand to take care of labourers , shopkeeper, industrialists, traders and people who are associated with tourism industry and other sectors ,who have been worst hit due to covid19 pandemic.Singh said that any further delay in restoration of Statehood can increase the feelings of Cynicism and lack of confidence in political process, Politician and democratic institutions with in Jammu and Kashmir,people are anxiously waiting for the announcement of Statehood which has been announced by Hon’ble Home Minister that it will be restored as soon as possible in Jammu and Kashmir.
Tajinder singh said that Main source of earning in Jammu and Kashmir is Tourism and religious tourism, but the hotel’s are empty due to covid19 pandemic impact.Singh said government should consider to wave of electricity, water, bills and other charges levied by the government to these tourism business sector and shopkeepers.
Almost all the shopkeeper , traders and other small business unit have stuck due to covid19, due to this government of India must consider a special package these small business establishments by waving off loans upto five lakh and moratorium period of term loans, administration should come with a policy of waving monthly rents of shops and commercial establishments lease out by different government departments in Jammu and KASHMIR UT.
