JKRETTF Bandipora rejects allegations against ZEO Hajin, calls them baseless

The Jammu & Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum (JKRETTF), District Bandipora, has rejected the allegations recently levelled against Zonal Education Officer Hajin, terming them baseless, unfounded, and motivated by vested interests.

In an official press release issued by the Office of the District President, the Forum stated that such accusations do not stem from any genuine concern but are driven by certain elements attempting to influence the rationalisation process for personal gains. It emphasized that the process carried out under the supervision of ZEO Hajin has been conducted in a fair, transparent, and impartial manner, strictly in line with established norms and aimed at ensuring efficiency and equity within the education system.

The Forum highlighted that Mr. Masood Ahmad Magray, Zonal Education Officer Hajin, has consistently upheld high standards of integrity, accountability, and professionalism in the discharge of his duties. It noted that his approach has not only strengthened administrative functioning but has also ensured a balanced and just system for all stakeholders.

Expressing concern over what it described as a growing trend of spreading misleading and unsubstantiated claims, the Forum said such actions are detrimental to institutional integrity and create unnecessary divisions within the department. It observed that certain self-styled individuals repeatedly attempt to malign the image of sincere officers while pursuing their own interests.

Under the leadership of District President Mr. Muntazir Muneer, JKRETTF Bandipora reaffirmed its full confidence in Mr. Magray’s capabilities and conduct. The Forum appreciated his employee-friendly approach and his firm commitment to a zero-tolerance policy against corruption.

The statement further outlined key administrative improvements under his leadership, including timely disbursement of salaries, prompt disposal of genuine cases, efficient handling of official matters, and equal treatment of all employees. These measures, the Forum said, have contributed to a more responsive and accountable working environment.

Describing Mr. Magray as an upright and capable officer with strong administrative skills and commendable leadership qualities, the Forum said his dedication and fairness have earned him widespread respect among employees. It reiterated that no genuine issue remains unattended in his office and that his focus on transparency continues to benefit the department.

The Forum strongly condemned attempts to defame such officers through false narratives and urged all stakeholders to maintain the dignity of institutions. It called upon individuals to address grievances through proper and lawful channels rather than resorting to baseless allegations that harm the credibility of the School Education Department.

The JKRETTF Bandipora concluded by reiterating its unwavering support for all officials who uphold fairness, transparency, and accountability, while cautioning against any efforts aimed at undermining honest governance.
