Army, Police Continue Combing Operations in Rajouri Forests for 35th Consecutive Day

Security forces on Friday continued the ongoing anti-militancy operation in the dense forests of Dorimal in Rajouri district, with Operation Sheruwali entering its 35th consecutive day.

The multi-agency operation, involving the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police, has been underway following intelligence inputs about the presence of suspected militants in the forested terrain.

Security personnel are carrying out extensive combing operations to prevent militant movement and sanitise the area, maintaining a strong presence across the difficult and densely forested terrain.

Officials said no fresh contact with militants has been reported during the latest phase of the operation. However, security forces have maintained that searches will continue until the entire area is thoroughly sanitised.
