Kolar, Karnataka, Oct 4: Three persons, including a couple and their grandson were killed on the spot when a 80-feet chimney of an old brick factory collapsed on their thatched home at Rajpet in KGF taluk of this district today.
Police said the chimney collapsed after it was drenched in the recent heavy rains.
The victims who had built their thatched structure next to chimney died on the spot.
The dead were identified as Sukur Sahib (60), Fatima (50) and Fayaz (50).
Police have booked a case against the brick factory owner.
