PDP leader Waheed Ur Rehman Para on Monday expressed surprise over the exclusion of Jammu and Kashmir cricketer Aqib Nabi from the Indian team announced by the BCCI, calling the omission "truly shocking."
In a post on X, Para highlighted Aqib Nabi's central role in J&K's historic Ranji Trophy win after 67 years, his Player of the Match honours and IPL selection, and noted that the cricketer had earned praise from the Prime Minister's Office, the Home Ministry and the Chief Minister.
He questioned why such an achiever was dropped and tagged BCCI officials while raising the issue.
