Araria, Jun 19 : Six members of a marriage party were killed and another injured when their car fell into a pond near Suksena village under Tarawadi police station area in the district today.
Police said that the car after hitting a roadside tree fell into the pond after its driver lost control over his vehicle due to high speed. Sources said that the marriage party was on way to Doriyari village under Baunsi police station area from Chikni village when the mishap took place.
Police said that the deceased could not be identified immediately. The bodies have been sent for autopsy, sources added.
