Misbehavior of Dy Mayor with Docs’ shameful, unacceptable: Qayoom Wani

Srinagar, Dec 19 : Senior JCC leader and President Employees joint Action Committee Ab Qayoom Wani has strongly condemned the abusive language and misbehavior of Deputy Mayor Srinagar with Doctors and Paramedical staff on duty at Chest Disease hospital Dalgate.
In a statement issued to KNS, Wani termed the incident shameful and unacceptable to the employee fraternity because employees of the state are elite class of the society and are serving the people of J&K state particularly the employees of the Health department including Doctors and paramedical staff are discharging their duties in difficult situations and are putting their sweat and blood for patient care.
EJAC president strongly condemned the misbehavior and power arrogance of the Deputy Mayor and asked him to stop his undue interference in Hospital affairs which has adversely affected the patient care in the Hospital.
He appealed Chief Secretary BVR Subramanyium, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan and Commissioner Secretary Health Department Atul Duloo for their immediate interference in this issue so that such incidents may not occur in future and patient care may not suffer any more.
Wani also urged upon the Doctors, Paramedical staff of Chest Disease Hospital and President Medical employees’ federation Shabir Ahmad langoo to keep in view the patient care while agitating this issue before the administration. Wani showed solidarity with the Doctors and para medical staff of Chest Disease Hospital Srinagar, on behalf of all the leaders of EJAC in particular and employee fraternity in general.
