Overstaying clerks in health department not transferred for decade

Srinagar, Dec 19: Though Principal Secretary Health and Medical institute recently clarified that the clerks overstaying at the health services directorate in Kashmir and district offices across Kashmir would be transferred but the clerks are still occupying the positions which they are holding for the last more than a decade.
Reliable sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the clerks in the Directorate of health Services Kashmir continue to hold positions from last one decade and nobody has bother take action in this regard.
Sources said that some of the officials are holding the positions from last 10-15 years but there is no word from the administration, saying that those who continue to hold the positions since last one decade are allegedly involved in embezzlements.
Such is the height of the deplorable behaviour, that even the information sought by the KNS correspondent was not provided.
The employees in the DHSK have also demanded authorities to transfer those who have are overstaying from last over one decade.
Meanwhile, Director Health, Dr Kunzes Dolma said that they will look into the matter.
However, Dolma didn’t provide the further details and dropped the phone.
