Srinagar, June 19: A delegation of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), on the directions of its Chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah, on Monday visited Khadwani, Kulgam and expressed condolence and solidarity with the family of Shaheed Junaid Mattoo who was martyred in gunfight with forces at Arwani last week.
The delegation led by party’s secretary general Moulana Abdullah Tari comprised of advocate Fayaz Sodagar, Er Farooq Ahmad, and also visited the residence of Shaheed Adil Ahmad at Frestbal and expressed condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family.
Shabir Ahmad Shah talked to both families by phone and said the sacrifices of martyrs will yield results very soon, In Sha Allah. He paid glowing tributes to both martyrs and reiterated the pledge that whole nation is committed to take the mission of martyrs to its end.
On the occasions, Moulana Tari also addressed people and shed light on the philosophy of martyrdom. He said it is our responsibility to safeguard the sacrifices of our martyrs by continuing our struggle for freedom with dedication and sincerity.
