Pulwama: Thousands of people participated in the funeral prayers of three militants of Zakir Musa group and a civilian at their villages, witnesses said.
A complete shutdown is being observed in Tral, Awantipora and Pulwama area to mourn the killing of three militants of Zakir Musa group and a civilian in an encounter with Government forces in Gulabbagh village of Tral on Wednesday.
All shops and business establishments, schools and colleges remained closed,
Three militants Zahid Ahmad Bhat of Nowdal Tral, Mohammad Ishaq Bhat of Batagund Tral and Mohammad Ashraf Dar of Baghi Trich Pulwama were killed in an encounter with government forces at Gulabbagh area of Tral on Wednesday.
A 16 years old boy Mohammad Younis Sheikh of Saimoh Tral was also killed in government forces action post encounter.
Thousands of people on Wednesday evening participated in the multiple funeral prayers of two slain militants Ishaq Ahmad at Batagund and Mohammad Ashraf Dar at Trich Pulwama and civilian Mohammad Younis Sheikh at Saimoh Tral.
Thousands of people also participated in the funeral prayers of Zahid Ahmad today morning at Nowdal Tral .
