J&K Accounts Employees Association Presents Memorandum to 8th Pay Commission in Srinagar

A delegation of the Jammu & Kashmir Accounts Employees Association (JKAEA), Secretariat Unit, on Monday met the 8th Pay Commission at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC), Srinagar, and presented its memorandum highlighting key concerns of J&K Accounts Services employees.

The Commission is currently on a special visit to Jammu & Kashmir to gather inputs and take stock of various aspects related to the forthcoming pay revision exercise.

The JKAEA delegation submitted its memorandum in both soft and hard copy, and deliberated at length on the major concerns of J&K Accounts Services personnel pertaining to the upcoming Pay Commission. The Commission extended a patient hearing and took note of the issues raised by the delegation.

The Association expressed gratitude to the Chairperson and members of the 8th Pay Commission for sparing time to hear their concerns, and also thanked the liaison officers of the Finance Department for their positive support and coordination in facilitating the meeting.
