Delegation Led by Former SSP Farooq Rishi Welcomes NATF Chairman Vishal Chopra in Kashmir

Senior Superintendent of Police (Retd.) and advocate Farooq Rishi, along with a delegation of senior officers and prominent citizens from various districts of the Kashmir Valley, including Budgam, Anantnag and Srinagar, on Tuesday extended a warm welcome to Mr. Vishal Chopra, National Chairman of the National Anti-Terrorism Front (NATF).

During the interaction, members of the delegation appreciated Mr. Chopra’s initiatives aimed at combating drug addiction, corruption, narco-terrorism and all forms of terrorism. They expressed their full support for NATF’s mission to strengthen national unity and pledged to work in close coordination with security forces and local communities to safeguard peace and stability in the region.

The dignitaries invited the NATF Chairman to visit Kashmir regularly and conduct awareness programmes, particularly focusing on youth engagement. They also urged him to hoist the national flag during such visits as a symbol of unity and national integration, ensuring that the message of “Love India, Live India, For India” reaches every corner of the Valley.

Emphasising the need to expose and counter underground elements that undermine the nation’s integrity, the speakers reiterated their commitment to supporting efforts that promote peace, harmony and patriotism.

The event concluded on a patriotic note with the chanting of “Jai Hind, Jai Bharat and Vande Mataram,” reaffirming a collective resolve towards the security, unity and prosperity of the country.
