Five Amarnath pilgrims from Uttar Pradesh and a driver from Ganderbal were injured after a Yatra convoy vehicle met with an accident near Jakhani in Udhampur district on Saturday.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha reviewed the situation and directed officials to ensure the best possible medical care for the injured, who are undergoing treatment at Government Medical College (GMC) Udhampur.
He also assured all necessary assistance and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured pilgrims.
