A Special Operations Group (SOG) personnel was killed and another injured after their official vehicle hit the steel girder of a Bailey Bridge in the Chadoora area of Budgam district on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Tariq Ahmad, a resident of Hanjura, while the injured, Riyaz Ahmed, is undergoing treatment at a hospital. Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation.
