Over 3 Lakh Pilgrims Arrive in Saudi Arabia for Hajj

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has directed authorities to ensure a safe and smooth Hajj pilgrimage, calling for full mobilization of operational, security and preventive measures across holy sites and entry points.

Chairing a cabinet meeting, he stressed delivering the highest standards of service for pilgrims visiting Makkah and Madinah.

Over three lakh pilgrims from several countries have already arrived in Saudi Arabia, including more than 20,000 from India. Around 1,100 pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir are among them, with 28 flights scheduled from Srinagar to facilitate their journey till May 5.

Meanwhile, Hajj and Umrah Minister Tawfiq Al-Rabiah reviewed preparedness in Mina camps as part of pre-Hajj inspections.
