Srinagar Police Seizes Multi-Crore Assets of Three Notorious Peddlers

Srinagar Police on Saturday attached three immovable properties and one vehicle worth over ₹5.8 crore belonging to three notorious drug peddlers in the Khanyar area under the Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan.

The attachments, carried out by Police Station Khanyar under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act, targeted Nazir Ahmad Mir alias Nazir Lashkari, whose double-storeyed house and eight shops worth ₹3.2 crore were attached; Gulzar Ahmad Mir, who lost a Scorpio vehicle and land worth a combined ₹1.8 crore; and Zahid Manzoor Rather, whose single-storeyed house on nine marlas of land worth ₹80 lakh was attached. All properties were identified as illegally acquired through drug proceeds.
