Back-to-Back Fuel Hikes: Fourth Price Hike Since May 15 Pushes Petrol Past ₹102

Petrol and diesel prices were hiked for the fourth time in under 10 days on Monday, with diesel rising by ₹2.71 per litre and petrol by ₹2.61 per litre, taking petrol in Delhi to ₹102.12. The cumulative increase now stands at nearly ₹7.50 per litre since fuel rate revisions resumed on May 15 after a prolonged freeze.

State-owned oil firms have been passing on rising international crude prices to consumers through successive revisions.
