Srinagar, Oct 01: An unidentified militant has been killed in an encounter that breaks out between militants and Security forces in Rakhama village in South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday morning.
An official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC), that a joint team of Police, army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.
He said that as the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them which was retaliated , triggering an encounter.
A senior police officer told Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that one unidentified militant has been killed so far whose identification is being ascertained while as the operation is on in the area. (KDC)
