On the occasion of World Homeopathy Day, the AYUSH Department Ganderbal, in collaboration with the Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Ganderbal, and the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal, organized a Mega AYUSH Awareness Camp at District Police Lines Ganderbal.
The camp witnessed active participation from personnel of the Jammu & Kashmir Police across the district. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the benefits and applications of Homeopathic medicine, particularly in managing lifestyle-related ailments and chronic diseases.
A team of doctors from AYUSH Unit Ganderbal provided free medical consultations and treatment to the participants. Awareness sessions were also conducted to highlight the role of Homeopathy in preventive and curative healthcare.
The camp was inaugurated by the SSP Ganderbal and the Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Ganderbal, who appreciated the initiative and underscored the importance of integrative healthcare systems like AYUSH in enhancing public health outcomes.
A Yoga session was also organized during the programme, focusing on stress management, physical fitness, and overall well-being, especially for police personnel dealing with demanding duties.
The event concluded successfully, receiving positive feedback from participants and reaffirming the importance of such outreach programmes in promoting awareness and accessibility of AYUSH services.
