Former District Development Council Chairperson Baramulla, Safina Baig, on Wednesday joined the National Conference at the party headquarters in Srinagar in the presence of party president Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and other senior leaders.
Safina, wife of PDP co-founder and former Deputy Chief Minister Muzaffar Hussain Baig, joined the party along with her supporters. Her induction is seen as a significant political boost for the National Conference in Baramulla district.
