Two students from Jammu and Kashmir have secured places among the top 138 candidates in the NEET-UG 2026 examination, according to the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Hadiya Nisar secured All India Rank (AIR) 99, while Zaidan Wani secured AIR 124, both with a percentile of 99.9930996.
Nationally, Aryan Gupta of Punjab topped the examination, followed by Panshul Bansal of Haryana and Uplakshya Goyal of Rajasthan. The achievement has been hailed as a significant milestone for Jammu and Kashmir in national-level competitive examinations.
