Tangmarg: To boost Sports activities in north Kashmir’s Tangmarg Area Indian Army 2RR Unit Organized Village Tournament at Shrai Tangmarg.
Total 12 teams participated in the Army’s Sadbawna Cricket Tourney in Chandil Tangmarg.
Today Final match of the tournament was played between Tumberhama and Darakshi in which Darakshi Defeated Tumberhama by 9 Runs.
While as Burgradaur S.H.Nakvi and CO 2RR Col.P.Ashok was chief Guest on the final ceremony of tournament, Highlighting People friendly relationship Nakvi told Shabroz malik that army organized sports events to bring out hidden talent and strengthen people friendly relationship and provide platform to the youth of area to express their sports skill at national and international levels.
However, Nakvi distributed Cash Prize of Rupees 10000/= to winning team,and added in future we will explore cricket activities in Tangmarg areas.
