September (PR):Srinagar: NC Legislator from Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar on Friday asked the NC and PDP to join hands to fight for the protection of Article 35-A and 370.
In a statement issued Ishfaq said “the suggestion of J&K Civil Society Coordination Committee (JKCSC) for alliance of National Conference and PDP for fighting strongly article 35-A and challenges to Article 370 are welcome.”
He said that it is high time for both the parties to stand for the protection of rights of people and should join hands to fight against the ill designs jointly,” Ishfaq said.
He further said that the case should be fought legally as well as politically.
“It is a political proposition and it should be fought politically,” he said.
NC and the PDP must come together to find a solution: firstly, an immediate solution to stop the violence and, then, a path forward that will bring hope, peace and prosperity to the people of Jammu & Kashmir.”
Sheikh Ishfaq has said that to fight for defending Article 35-A and challenges to Article 370 together are his personnel views but not of the party.
