Srinagar, Sep 27: Border Security Force (BSF) Monday claimed to have achieved a big success by recovering a huge cache of arms, ammunition, narcotics at International border Akhnoor area.

A BSF spokesman told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that acting on a specific input, a search operation was conducted near the International Border in Akhnoor area.

“During search, a bag was found hidden in thick grass. On opening, it was found containing four pistols, eight magazines, 25 rounds, one packet filled with narcotics(likely Heroin) weighing about 01 kg along with FICN worth Rs.2,75,000/- was also found inside the bag,” the BSF spokesman said, adding that the consignment was likely to be delivered to the anti-national elements of the area, but BSF foiled the attempts by seizing the consignment—(KNO)
