A CRPF Assistant Sub-Inspector collapsed and died at the Horticulture Camp in Zainapora, Shopian on Friday. He was shifted to CHC Zainapora where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
The deceased was a resident of Rajbagh area of Kathua district.
Authorities have initiated proceedings to determine the circumstances surrounding the death.
