In the wake of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, multi-party Indian delegations have fanned out across key global capitals—including Qatar, Singapore, France, Slovenia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)—to highlight India’s zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and rally international support for its position on cross-border extremism.

These coordinated diplomatic engagements aim to expose the deliberate attempts to destabilize peace in Jammu and Kashmir and emphasize India’s calibrated and responsible counter-terrorism actions.

Qatar: Strong Bilateral Understanding on Terrorism

In Doha, the Indian delegation engaged with top officials, including Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council, HE Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti. The meeting underscored India’s concerns over growing cross-border terror threats and conveyed that Operation Sindoor, India's response to the Pahalgam attack, was precise and restrained. Qatar reaffirmed its zero-tolerance stance on terrorism, aligning with India's view that terrorism must be condemned unequivocally.

The delegation also met with scholars at the Middle East Council for Global Affairs and editorial teams from major newspapers, Al Sharq and Peninsula, presenting India's viewpoint on recent developments in Jammu and Kashmir.

In Singapore, Indian representatives discussed regional security and counter-terrorism cooperation with local policymakers and strategic analysts. Emphasis was laid on India’s efforts to maintain peace despite persistent provocations and the urgent need for international collaboration to counter extremist networks.

In Paris, the Indian delegation held talks with senior French officials and members of France’s strategic community.
