Senior National Conference leader Mustafa Kamal passed away after a brief illness at a private hospital in Srinagar on Monday.
He had been undergoing treatment for the past few days and died at around 5 pm.
Kamal was the son of Sheikh Abdullah and the brother of Farooq Abdullah. His demise has been confirmed by the National Conference.
