A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Assistant Sub-Inspector died after suffering a cardiac arrest while on duty in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday.
The deceased, identified as Jai Prakash, a resident of Haryana and posted with the 18th Battalion of the CRPF, reportedly collapsed and was rushed to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag, where doctors declared him brought dead. Officials have initiated further proceedings.
