Slow internet throttles doctors’ coronavirus response : Inam Un Nabi
Calls on restoration of 4G services in Jammu and Kashmir
Srinagar, April 02 (PR) : In view of the current serious atmosphere throughout the country and the world by the Corona Virus , Socio Political activist and TV Debater Inaam Un Nabi has appealed to the authorities to immediately restore the 4G internet service in the Jammu and Kashmir.
Inam Un Nabi expressed concern over the Pandemic of CoronaVirus causing havoc everywhere and keeping in view pandemic situation , authorities needs to understand that people are unable to share medical reports nor able to make video calls to health professionals to seek advice for their health issues.
Inam further said that In the current COVID – 19 context, emotional and mental health support are very critical especially in a situation of physical distancing; communications are fundamental to stay in touch with families, friends as well as other support services that are necessary for people’s health and well-being. Moreover, Health professionals who require regular supplies of protective equipment and gear are unable to access the same in time, Inam said.
Inam Un Nabi observed that high speed internet is the need of the hour so that student get to study from home using the internet mode.
Inam observed that only high speed internet in the form of 4G internet services can help the children and youth accessing the online classes, which can keep them upto date .
He hoped that considering the grim nature of the present situation the authorities for overall well being would restore the high speed (4G) internet services.
